How to connect servers together using BungeeCord.

Note: We recommend you have a minimum of 3 servers for this to work well.

1. Log in to your server's Pterodactyl panel, Select your BungeeCord server.

2. Stop your server. This will make sure no files will get edited or deleted.

3. We recommend you create a backup of your server so if you change your mind or something goes wrong you won't lose all of your stuff.

4. Once the backup has been made, click on files then look for Config.yml and click it.

5. The Config.yml page should look something like this, if not you need to restart your server.

6. In the config.yml page we recommend you change the Host which is highlighted in Yellow to the port of the server you want people to spawn in on.

Secondly, we recommend you change the Force_defualt_Server (which is highlighted in green) to True, This makes it so when people join they will join in the server you want them to spawn in.

7.  Here is where you add servers to your bungeecord.

  • On the image below where it says “Lobby” you need to change that to the name of the server you want to add.
  • You do not need to change the motd.
  • For the address, you need to put the IP of the server you want to add.
  • You do not need to change the restriction.

8. If you want to add more servers you can do that by copying and pasting the section below. (make sure to change everything)

Note: Make sure all of this is in the correct format otherwise your Bungeecord network won't work.

9. go over to all of the servers you have added to your Bungeecord server and find the Spigot.yml file, once you have clicked it, find the bungee setting and turn it to True

10. Once you have done that go to the Server.properties in files and set the online_mode to false

11. After Server.properties go to Config.yml in files and find where it says host and put your default server in there this makes it so that server will be the server everyone will spawn in when they join.
