Server fails to start saying port is occupied Print

Hello, If you have just bought a Bedrock Minecraft Server, and you get an error saying the port is already used, here are the steps to fix that.

  1. First, go to your Game Panel and select your Bedrock Server.
  2. Then, Click the Network tab near the top of the page.
  3. Third, click add allocation and copy the just generated port, or the port that isn't selected as primary.
  4. Fourth, Select the Files tab near the top of the page.
  5. Find the file near the bottom labeled server.properties and select the file by double clicking, or right-clicking and selecting the edit option.
  6. Once editing the file find the line that says server-portv6= this was line 10 for me. If there is a port listed next to it, select the port and past the port you just copied from the networking tab. Now you should have something like this: server-portv6=19133
  7. Click the blue Save Content button in the bottom right-hand corner.
  8. Now click the Console tab near the top of the page.
  9. Select the red Restart button in the top right-hand corner.

Once you have successfully followed all these steps, your bedrock server will now start up without this error.
